Offerings is software that lets community wellness organisers in South Africa publish a registration page and take RSVPs or payments for an event. By using it, you agree to the terms below.
What Offerings is — and isn't
Offerings hosts the registration page and the data your attendees submit. It is not a payment processor. When you take payments, funds flow from the attendee's card directly to your Paystack account — we never receive, hold, or pay out your money.
Your offerings, your responsibility
You are the organiser of every offering you publish. You are responsible for:
- The legality of the offering itself in your jurisdiction
- How you handle attendee data after they register
- Honouring registrations and refunds
- Compliance with Paystack's terms and the rules of any payment mode you choose
Acceptable use
You may not use Offerings to:
- Sell illegal goods or services
- Solicit personal information beyond what's reasonable for the offering
- Spam, harass, or impersonate others
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to bypass platform protections
We reserve the right to suspend or remove offerings that breach these terms.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account. This is irreversible and removes all your offerings, registrations, and uploaded photos. Funds already received via Paystack remain in your Paystack account.
Liability
Offerings is provided "as is". We do our best to keep things running but make no guarantees about uptime, deliverability of emails, or availability of third-party services (Paystack, Resend, Supabase). Our liability for any claim arising out of your use of Offerings is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. (Currently the service is free for organisers — fees are whatever you paid us, which may be zero.)
Pricing
Offerings is currently free for organisers during MVP. We'll introduce optional donor tips and a small per-transaction fee at v1.5 when Paystack Connect is enabled — at which point you'll be emailed the pricing change at least 30 days before it takes effect.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via the email address on your account.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
